brewing guide
Brew your tamar just like any coffee. We recommend using french press, pour over, or a drip brewer. Start with 2 full tablespoons of tamar (16g) for each 6-7oz of water. Feel free to adjust according to your personal preferences. Enjoy.
French Press
+ Fill your french press with 2 tbsp of tamar for each cup (7oz) of water
+ Pour hot water (+/- 200f) and stir
+ Cover your french press with the plunger unit (do not press yet & make sure the pour spout is closed to retain the heat)
+ Wait for 4-5 minutes
+ Open and give it a short stir once more
+ Cover, make sure the pour spout is open, and gently press the plunger down
+ Pour & enjoy!

Pour over
+ Add 2 tbsp of tamar for each cup of water (7oz)
+ Slowly pour hot water (200f) in a circular motion over the coffee grounds, until they’re evenly saturated
+ Wait 30 seconds
+ Pour the additional hot water
+ Allow water to pass through the coffee into the glass carafe
+ Remove the filter, insert the plastic lid
+ Pour and enjoy!

Drip Brewer
+ Add fresh cold water to your drip brewer
+ Place coffee filter, as needed
+ Add 2 tbsp of tamar for each cup of water (6oz)
+ Start the brewing process
+ Once done, pour and enjoy!

Aeropress
*(We recommend using 1:6 tamar to water ratio)
+ Place a paper filter in the cap, rinse well
+ Put the plunger inside the main chamber of the Aeropress, so it forms a seal (inverted method)
+ Place the Aeropress on a scale (standing on the plunger)
+ Add 15g Tamar to the chamber
+ Pour 30 ml of water (200f)
+ Stir and let bloom for 30 seconds
+ Add remaining water (60 ml)
+ Attach the cap with the paper filter
+ Brew for 2 minutes
+ Invert the Aeropress so it’s sitting on top of your cup
+ Press down on the plunger until you hear air hiss
+ Enjoy!

Moka pot
+ Pour hot but not boiling water (about 180f) into the Moka boiler until it reaches the safety valve
+ Fill the Moka pot funnel generously, spread it evenly without applying pressure
+ CAUTION: the boiler will likely be hot when you re-attach to the top
+ Put the Moka on the stove and heat over a low flame
+ When you hear the gurgle, your coffee is ready
+ Pour & enjoy!
